Gay Porn Bookmark Rating Criteria
Want to know how the scores are created for our gay porn site reviews? Here are some of the things we consider when rating sites.

Content Quality

Things that are considered regarding content quality: Are the pics and videos sharp and clear, grainy, too dark, are there moving pixels in the backgrounds of the videos? Blurriness, faded images or vids, pixelation or blocky sections in the videos or pics are all points off. Videos where the camera is visibily shaky receive points off. In order to get a 24 or 25, the main content must look very good with nothing to detract from the content.

Content Quantity

Content quantity is judged by the number of full scenes, full pic sets and amount of content hosted on the site. The rating is not affected by the amount of bonus material. A site in a rare niche may receive a higher rating for less content than a site in a more general niche.

Updates

Update ratings can be based on how frequently a full scene or pic set is added to the site, and also how many full scenes or pic sets are added at a time. A site that adds only a clip of a full scene or a page of a gallery will receive a lower score than a site that adds a full scene or gallery at the same frequency.

Value

Do members get good value for their money? While price vs amount of content is a big part of this, if the videos aren't downloadable, are poor quality or if the site no longer updates, the site will receive points off.

Features

The features rating is based on how many features the site has to offer. This can be things like blogs, forums or live shows that require no payment, or it can be things like a model index, downloadable zip files, offering a search box or good sorting options or offering many video formats/sizes.

Navigation

If a site is very easy to find your way around, with no misleading links or confusing navigation, it will receive a 5 for navigation. Anything that makes a site harder to get around, to find the content or ads that either intrude or look like content will take points away.

Reviewer Points

Reviewer points are extra points for a very likeable or high quality site. Some sites don't rate as highly as they deserve because some things - excellent design, site personality or other things of this nature - make the site better but are hard to quantify, so the reviewer can add points to sites that seem to have more going for them than the average site.

Issues

Sometimes sites have little quibbles that don't really matter, but some issues are real problems for members. Things like the site not updating any more, content not fitting the niche of the site at all, very infrequent updates, misleading tour claims, unusual content problems like videos having no sound, make a site overall less enjoyable. In these cases, the site will receive at least one negative point to be subtrated from the score. How severe the problems are or how many occur will affect how many points off a site gets.
